Community Leader Programs Scheduled

Low-key Walk Leader sessions help Nordic Walkers help others get moving

If you enjoy Nordic Walking for pleasure and fitness and want to share your passion with others without getting into the nitty-gritty of technique, sign up for a Nordic Walking Leadership program with Suzanne Nottingham, a nationally known fitness instructor and Director of Nordic Walking Information for LEKI USA. The most important qualifications are enthusiasm and passion to share. No teaching or Nordic walking experience is necessary. Nottingham provides information, guidance and teaching tools to show anyone how to Nordic Walk with safely.

These three-hour programs cost $135, including a pair of LEKI poles to keep and also educational materials. Each additional person signing up at the same time pays just $95. Register online at Nottingham's Nordic Walk Now website at least 21 days in advance and get a $25 discount. Early-signup discount for each additional person is $70.
